St. Ives is one of the most famous holiday towns in Cornwall - a jewel situated at the south-western tip of England with crystal blue waters, the surf, three beaches with golden sands, and year round sub tropical temperatures. Life centres around the harbour where fishing boats still moor within the granite breakwater. Radiating from the harbour into the old town is a maze of narrow cobbled streets, lined by fishermen's cottages, many now converted to restaurants, coffee shops and art galleries. Of particular note is the Tate Modern Gallery and the Barbara Hepworth Museum.
