Atlantic Lodge offers superb self catering holiday accommodation in the wildly beautiful landscape of Cornwall's most south-western promontory. Just a short distance from Lands End, Sennen offers golden sands and excellent surf in a landscape otherwise dominated by rugged cliffs.
Atlantic Lodge caters for holiday parties of between 6 and 16 as the property comprises of two self contained units sleeping 8 and 6. An additional twin room can be hired at extra cost and the two units combined for large groups.
Self catering in Sennen is popular with families of all ages and Atlantic Lodge is well suited to meet the needs of all our guests. Beach holidays are as popular as ever in Cornwall and Atlantic Lodge is located a short walk away from a choice of stunning beaches at Sennen and Gwynver.
For slightly older guests, the surfing and body boarding conditions locally are very good and Sennen has both a surfing school and lifeguards to help you make the most of conditions in safety
The facilities at Atlantic Lodge are of a very high standard. To make the most of the local views, living accommodation has been arranged on the first floor. Both properties have fully equipped kitchens with microwave, electric hob, oven and dishwasher.
Both properties have a washing machine and tumble drier as well as a shared area for drying wetsuits. Full central heating runs throughout the properties and "Victoria" offers the option of an open fire for additional comfort in Winter.
All bedrooms are tastefully, and recently, decorated. In "Edward", all bedrooms are en-suite while in “Victoria” the master bedroom is en-suite and the remaining bedrooms have nearby toilets and a well appointed master bathroom.
One of the greatest assets of Atlantic Lodge is the generous gardens and grounds. There is plenty of parking for our guests and extensive gardens. We have planted a herb garden close to the house whilst the lower garden includes a pond and small streams (children should be supervised here).
The locality offers a great deal for our guests, if they can tear themselves away from the house and beach. The coast path and a cycle route both offer easy access to Lands End which houses year-round attractions including the popular "Doctor Who Up Close" exhibition. The town of Penzance provides a good range of shops for your catering requirements whilst narrow lanes take you to hidden fishing ports like Mousehole.
A day trip to the Scillies will be easy to arrange from Atlantic lodge, either travelling from the heliport or on the Scillonian ferry. Travelling further up the county offers a choice of the north coast, with St. Ives and Newquay within a day-trip radius or the south coast with the Lizard Peninsula or Falmouth with its bustling town, sandy beaches and the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis castle. The Eden Project is a full day trip away, but is easily worth the drive as there is enough to occupy visitors for the day.
