The majority of the caravans at Ayr Holiday Park have fantastic sea views and pets are allowed in certain caravans.
Finally, Ayr caters for touring caravans and campers at the nearby Travalgan Touring Park. Again occupying a great elevated location.
The main touring park has pitches for tents, motor-caravans and touring caravans. There are excellent views over the sea from most pitches and although the field is naturally sloping, there are areas of level terracing. Almost all pitches have an electric hook-up (16 amp), a tap and drain.
The shower and toilet block is kept clean and maintained to a very high standard. Services such as showers, hot water, hair dryers, shaver points, etc. are all free. There are also dishwashing sinks and a chemical toilet disposal point, plus a waste and water point for motor-caravans.
St Ives is a highly popular holiday resort with a loyal band of year on year visitors.
