Blue Bay Hotel

Small family run hotels are a dying breed in Cornwall, but with three generations of genuine hospitality in the family, James and Pippa are determined not to let the corporates take over. You'll still be greeted with warm smiles, a whistling kettle and Patty-dog wagging her tail with glee at your arrival.

Dogs are still very welcome at the hotel and the lodges and Mawgan Porth remains one of the few dog-friendly beaches on the north coast.

It may be obvious, but we retain our beautiful position overlooking the golden sands, turquoise seas and scarlet sunsets of Mawgan Porth, up where the gulls glide and rooks tumble. The lodges, hotel lounge, restaurant and most of the rooms continue to enjoy the wonderful panorama of the north Cornwall coastline.

Blue Bay Lodge

Enjoying superb views of the wild Atlantic and the serenity of the Vale of Lanherne, Blue Bay Lodge offers the visitor the very best Cornwall has to offer.

Located halfway up the hill from Mawgan Porth beach means unrivalled coastal or country walks begin at the doorstep.
With Padstow only a fifteen minute drive to the north, Newquay with its nightlife a fifteen minute drive to the south and the moors surrounding Bodmin to the east, the Lodges are ideally situated at the centre of any Cornish experience.

Blue Bay consists of four individually designed Cornish Lodges, family owned and operated to cater for your individual needs. Each lodge is unique, with a character and a Cornish name of its own. Finished to an exceptional standard, each is sound insulated and centrally heated with its own private terrace or balcony from which you can enjoy the unique scenery of North Cornwall. With separate bedrooms making them ideal for families, teenagers, special breaks, parties or societies, each lodge is fully equipped with everything you need for your holiday including a kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, TV and video.

All bed linen, towels, heat and light are supplied free of charge. There are no hidden extras.
