Welcome to Edgars Hotel, St. Ives, Cornwall.

Our comfortable and popular guesthouse offers AA 4 star standard accommodation with a selection of rooms to suit different guests and groups. Edgar's is located adjacent to the Leach Pottery which, since its establishment in 1920 has become one of the key artistic attractions in St Ives.
At Edgar's you can be assured of a warm welcome and first-rate hospitality. Our twin, double and family rooms are extremely comfortable, heated (for out of season visits) and have en-suite showers. We take pride in ensuring our guests are comfortable and so each room has a television, radio alarm and hospitality trays.

The en-suite rooms are clean and modern with soap dispensers, towels and complimentary toiletries provided. Edgar's offers a real rarity for St Ives – free and adequate parking for our guests! With the sights, attractions and beaches of St Ives within convenient walking distance, many guests prefer to leave the car safely parked and explore the town on foot. Whether you are here to do some painting, sightseeing, walking (the coast path offers some amazing views) or to sample some "beach life" Edgar's makes an ideal base.
Whilst St Ives has a huge amount to offer, it is well worth taking your explorations further afield during your stay. St Ives is a well-placed starting point to discover large sections of Cornwall. To the South West you have Penwith and Lands End, an area with dramatic seascapes and coastline, small harbours and ancient sites dating back to Cornwall's earliest settlers.

Changing coasts, which takes no time at all since Cornwall is a narrow county, you can discover The Lizard, Helford Passage, Falmouth and The Roseland. The area around Falmouth has a particularly rich collection of gardens, many of which run down to the river or coast (Trelissick and Trebah for example). Falmouth boasts a large bustling harbour with boat trips, the Maritime museum and Pendennis Castle.
Taking the King Harry Ferry across the river at Trelissick opens up the beautiful Roseland Peninsular for exploration with some really good quality south coast beaches if you fancy a change.

Returning from your day's exploration you can relax in the comfortable lounges at Edgar's and chat to fellow guests or enjoy some quiet reading or television in your room. In the morning, after a restful night, our home-cooked breakfast will get your day off to a perfect start!
Edgar's prides itself on providing home-cooked food made with fresh local ingredients. We offer some unique local produce sourced from local small traders to ensure that the food we offer is of the freshest, tastiest variety!
