Hartswheal
Barn is an attractive, carefully converted old stone farm granary,
set in peaceful rolling countryside, well away from the road,
surrounded by an abundance of farm animals and wildlife. A family
of swallows can be seen around the eaves and roof from all rooms.
The
accommodation has been given a VISIT BRITAIN 3 Stars
commendation and is newly converted, decorated and furnished.
It consists of three bedrooms, one is spacious with double bed
and generous storage cupboards, another with twin 3ft pine beds
and the third with 2' 6" bunk beds. The shower room has
a low entry shower with wall mounted shower seat, washbasin
and w.c., heated towel rail and handrails.
Outside
there is plenty of space for two cars and a level lawned area
with flowering shrubs, garden furniture. and a barbecue area.

The
kitchen/diner seats six and is well equipped with a convection
microwave oven, 4-ring fitted hob and new refrigerator. The sitting
area is comfortably furnished with a woodburning stove set against
the natural stone wall. The countryside views and sounds from
all the rooms are good. Patio doors lead out onto a sheltered
sunny patio area. Farmyard memorabilia decorates the barn.

Although
designed and converted on one level with the less agile and DISABLED
in mind, this property is equally well suited for a family holiday.
Our guests are welcome to walk around the 52 acre farm (areas
of which are suitable for WHEELCHAIRS) and help feed some of the
many tame farm animals.

Our
cows calve in Summer, and hens hatch chicks around the farmyard watched by 'Wiggy' the pig and friendly white ducks.
The
Eden Project is 5 miles away and the nearest beaches are near
Fowey, 6 miles away, indoor swimming is 4 miles away, near Lanhydrock
House, the Bodmin Steam Railway and Restormel Castle.
