Welcome to The Pier House Hotel & Restaurant

If you are looking for accommodation with a flavour of historic Cornwall, then The Pier House Hotel is a must for you! Located on the waterfront of historic Charlestown Harbour, The Pier House Hotel offers modern luxury within but living history right outside your window.
Charlestown, located on the outskirts of St Austell, is a World Heritage Site being an unspoiled Georgian harbour which is home to the Square Sail fleet of tall ships. The harbour was constructed to support local china clay mining but was also a busy smuggling port.
Modern uses for the harbour include berthing, maintenance and training connected with traditional sailing ships. The unspoiled architecture and traditional appearance of the harbour area have made it a popular filming location both in its own right and in connection with the tall ships.
The Pier House Hotel offers a choice of 29 comfortable rooms, all with central heating and modern en suite facilities. Rooms have colour televisions, tea/coffee making facilities and direct dial telephones. Free unlimited WIFI internet access is available in all rooms. Many of the rooms offer views directly onto the harbour and the hotel has two deluxe "Harbour View Suites", a single and a double for that extra special occasion.

Dining can be arranged prior to your arrival for our a la carte restaurant though meals are also available at the Harbourside Inn, next to the hotel, and in the Bistro. The Harbourside Inn is a friendly pub which offers a great atmosphere for an evening with regular live entertainment.
Rooms at The Pier House Hotel are booked on a Bed and Breakfast basis though meals in the A La Carte Restaurant can be arranged at time of booking for half-board accommodation. Breakfast is cooked to order using fresh local ingredients and can be full traditional breakfast, a lighter option or fresh fish (kipper or haddock). Breakfast overlooking Charlestown Harbour is a great way to start the day!
