The Riverside is a lovely old property nestling into the hill overlooking the creek and the picturesque village of Helford in this gorgeous part of Cornwall. You just relax and have some fun and we do all the rest. Our staff will serve you, clean and cook, for groups both large and small. Free wine with dinner, use of boats. The price includes it all: idyllic setting, stunning house, for business breaks or pleasure, for long weekends, activity breaks or just a week of leisure. Whichever option you prefer we know you'll be delighted. Our holidays are an experience that makes everyone excited.

When you arrive at The Riverside you will find a very warm welcome, your beds made with freshly laundered sheets, pretty flowers in your rooms, deliciously fragrant toiletries in the bathrooms, dinner being prepared and wine bottles uncorked! It is time to start unwinding!

Cleaning is not your responsibility either! Our housekeeper, Mary, will do that and make your beds for you. She will also give you clean bath towels half way through your week. And at the end of your holiday, all you have to do is pack up and go - there is nothing else for you to do.

The Riverside is an appealing, whitewashed cottage style house. The delightful rooms provide a level of comfort well above that normally associated with holiday accommodation. The comfortable sitting room, with its large cottage windows, looks over our terrace and the village beyond. Here, you can relax in front of the open fire, watch the television, dvd or a video or play one of our board games. On a practical note, the house has a separate laundry room for your use and the kitchen (although you won't have to see much of it) is well equipped and there is a fridge/freezer specifically for the use of guests so that you can store your own food for lunches etc. If you are still in stand-by "work mode" there is also a fax and a pay phone at The Riverside.

The Riverside is set within pretty terraced gardens and the front terrace is the perfect spot from which to watch the world go by. Alternatively, you can utilise the secluded lawn area, which catches the sun from early morning until late in the day. If you can tear yourself away, our staff are only too happy to point you in the right direction for golfing, sailing, fishing, diving, walking, or anything else you want to do.
