Simon Minchin provides marketing support to Cornish businesses across a broad range of type and size. He believes in marketing advice that is affordable and practical.

You might be looking for a marketing plan, someone to act as a part-time marketing manager, help in defining your brand or copy for your website. You might have a new business that needs a logo, brochure or even a name. Simon has a very broad experience in the world of marketing.

His advice is based on what your business actually needs. He has no axe to grind in terms of your choices for marketing activity and will look purely at what’s best for your business from mainstream advertising to direct marketing, relationship marketing or telesales.

Now living in Cornwall, Simon has helped support businesses here in the South West and throughout the world with all of those things.

Before moving back to Cornwall in 2003, Simon has been Executive Creative Director of Saatchi & Saatchi in South Africa, Executive Creative Director of McCann-Erickson in Asia, a board director of Ogilvy & Mather and a commercial film director. He has won over fifty International awards for creativity and for marketing effectiveness.

Simon believes that marketing advice is often shrouded in too much jargon and ‘marketing speak’. Marketing communication is about letting people know about your product or services in a way that they find convincing and appealing and that process can, and should be, described and carried out in a straightforward and understandable way.

At the end of the day, marketing is as much an art as a science. It will be vital to the growth of your business and in that respect, it should be taken seriously and professionally. It should also be enjoyable, creative and rewarding.
