Based in Falmouth the courses are ideally placed to take advantage of some of the best sailing waters in the country, and offer a magnificent cruising area for yachtsmen whatever their experience. Being the third largest natural harbour in the world, Falmouth has miles of sheltered water on its doorstep.

Further afield the south coast of Cornwall has many bays and inlets to explore, and waterside taverns provide perfect landing conditions for gaining coastal experience.

For the more experienced the attractive port of Fowey is 4 hours sailing away, or head for The Scillies, perhaps with a stopover in Penzance or Newlyn.

All RYA Instructional courses are held on recognised training vessels fitted with a full complement of safety equipment. Vessels used provide a selection of traditional, modern and fast sloops. Motor cruising courses provide the opportunity to experience handling both twin-screw displacement vessels and planing hull luxury motor cruisers.
