Westcliff is a superbly situated guest house personally run by Mike and Terrie Cook, facing the golden sands of Porthmeor Beach in the historic and picturesque town of St Ives. The abundance of sandy, safe beaches, unspoilt olde-worlde cobbled streets, cliff walks, old pubs and restaurants attract visitors back to the area time after time. The Harbour, shops and other beaches are only a few minutes level walk away and the famous St Ives Tate is virtually on the doorstep.
Although only a few minutes away from all the amenities St Ives has to offer in its bustling main streets, Westcliff's location offers a peaceful retreat, ideal for those who enjoy a beach holiday, browsing around all the art galleries and craft shops, or as a base for touring West Cornwall. Porthmeor Beach is well known for its excellent surf and the inviting golden sand and clear blue water is ideal for families. It is renowned for its cleanliness and offers full amenities; cafeterias, chalets, ice creams etc. Situated directly opposite Westcliff is the bowling green, the putting green and the start of the coastal path leading either to the beach or the beautiful cliffs around Man's Head and Clodgy Point.
